Fawna Zwart

Fawna is the Assistant Director for Campus and Community Engagement at Cranwell International Center. Prior to joining CIC she was the Promotions and Events Officer-Senior Events Manager for the Office of Cultural Affairs, Office of Economic Development, City Manager’s Office for the City of San Jose, California. 

Fawna has an extensive career in event management and event production, event permitting and promotion, project management and program leadership in the special event field. She has produced and coordinated numerous events, created event guidelines and lectured in the field of event management, intern and volunteer recruitment. She was responsible for attracting and retaining local, national and international events to the City of San Jose as a part of the Economic Strategy for the City.

Fawna holds a B.A. in Political Science from San Jose State University.  In her free time she loves to travel, paint, garden, and work on the restoration of a circa 1900 Saltbox farm house with her husband.
