Arrival Dinners for Undergraduates

• 8/16/26, 5:30-7:30 p.m.: International undergraduate students arriving with family, Squires Ballroom
• 8/17/26, 5:30-7:30 p.m.: International undergraduate students arriving without family, Squires Ballroom

Undergraduate Orientation Program

• 8/17/26, 9-11 a.m.: International Students Traveling With Family (family welcome at orientation), Squires Ballroom
• 8/17/26, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.: There will be a resource fair in the hallway outside of the Squires Ballroom that will host local banks, cell phone companies, Student Medical Insurance, and Rec Sports.
• 8/18/26, 9-11 a.m.: International Students Traveling Solo: Squires Ballroom
• 8/18/26, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.: There will be a resource fair in the hallway outside of the Squires Ballroom that will host local banks, cell phone companies, Student Medical Insurance, and Rec Sports.

Campus Tours

• 8/17/26, 1 p.m.: Undergraduate campus tours, meet outside of Squires Ballroom.
• 8/18/26, 1 p.m.: Undergraduate campus tours, meet outside of Squires Ballroom.

Supply Runs for Basic Necessities

• 8/17/26, 2-5:30 p.m.: Cranwell is hosting student-led excursions to various surrounding stores to get your basic necessities for Graduate and Undergraduate Students. This includes Kroger (the local grocery store), Oasis World Market (international grocery store), cell phone stores, and various other locations based on student needs. Vans meet at the Squires Student Center.

Immunization Clinics

There are a list of required immunizations you must get in order to attend VT. For a list of those immunizations, you can visit the Schiffert Health Center website.

• 8/17/26-8/20/26, 1:30-4 p.m.: If you did not get your immunizations before coming to VT, you will be assigned a time and emailed your appointment logistics to get the correct immunizations through Schiffert Health Center.

Global Dance Party

• 8/18/26, 7-10 p.m.: All students are welcome to enjoy a dance party that celebrates music and dancing from around the world! Squires Ballroom.
