Cross-Cultural-Discussion-Group
The Cross-Cultural Discussion Group provides a relaxing environment for students to share perspectives across different cultures on topics such as new year traditions, friendship and relationship building, communication styles and humor, etc. By joining the group, you will expand your worldview, make new friends, and enjoy fun conversations as a break from your busy study life. International snacks will also be provided!
The Spring 2022 group will take place at Graduate Life Center Meeting Room B. The dates, time and topics of the six groups are:
Feb. 1, 4:00-5:30pm - Holidays, new year traditions across cultures
Feb. 18, 3:30-5:00pm - Culture shock
Mar. 16, 3:30-5:00pm - Friendship, relationships across cultures
Mar. 30, 3:30-5:00pm - Food, dining etiquette across cultures
Apr. 12, 3:30-5:00pm - Humor, communication across cultures
Apr. 29, 2:30-4:00pm - Popular sports across nations
