International Student Career Development

Cranwell International Center in collaboration with Career and Professional Development has created special series of sessions to help international students start their career path from the get go. Cranwell International Center provides ongoing training sessions on preparing students for CPT/OPT sessions for international students who seek to complete an internship, co-op, or other off-campus work opportunities. Career Counselors at Career and Professional Development are happy to assist students with resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, other skills to be successful at getting the right professional opportunities.

Career Paths for International Students

Are you interested in attending one of the over dozen career fairs happening this semester? This workshop will provide you with the 10 steps for being successful at a career fair, from building your elevator pitch to researching companies before the fair. The presentation will also cover information specifically for international students, such as speaking to employers about your international student status and overcoming cultural barriers.
